About Me

Smeats: Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand; My passion for motorsport began as a young lad living in Wanganui and being taken to Oceanview Speedway and the infamous Cemetery Circuit. I am lucky to be of an age that means I remember names like Mauger, Briggs, Olsen, Bernstein, Mooney, Robertson, Evans, Coleman and Crosby. I spent most of my teen years trying to dispatch myself on motorbikes and trying not to write off Mum's car. Came close in both regards. Nowadays I am just a passionate spectator. Its not a secret that I favour Superstocks over other classes and try to get to all the major meetings. The idea behind this site is really just to share my perspective on something that I spend most summer weekends watching and posting any photos that I think you may like viewing.
